When it comes to juvenile dependency and Child Protective Services (CPS) cases in Orange County, California, the stakes are incredibly high. These cases can impact your family’s future, your parental rights, and the well-being of your children. At All Trial Lawyers, we specialize in providing aggressive, compassionate, and results-driven legal representation for families facing CPS investigations, juvenile dependency hearings, and related legal challenges.
Juvenile dependency law involves cases where the government intervenes in family matters, often due to allegations of abuse, neglect, or endangerment of a child. These cases are handled in juvenile dependency court, where the primary goal is to protect the child’s best interests. However, this process can be overwhelming and confusing for parents, which is why having an experienced juvenile dependency lawyer in Orange County is critical.
Under California Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) Section 300, child neglect and abuse are defined as situations where a child’s health, safety, or well-being is at risk due to a parent or guardian’s actions or failure to act.
Neglect typically involves the failure to provide basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, medical care, or supervision, leaving the child in harm’s way. Abuse, on the other hand, includes physical harm, emotional trauma, sexual exploitation, or willful cruelty inflicted on the child.
WIC 300 allows the court to intervene and place a child under protective custody if there is clear and convincing evidence of neglect or abuse. These cases are handled in juvenile dependency court, where the primary focus is ensuring the child’s safety while working toward family reunification when possible.
If you’re facing allegations under WIC 300, it’s crucial to consult an experienced juvenile dependency lawyer in Orange County to protect your rights and your child’s future.
A CPS lawyer specializes in defending parents and guardians against allegations made by Child Protective Services. CPS investigations can arise from misunderstandings, false accusations, or legitimate concerns. Regardless of the situation, you need a skilled CPS lawyer in Orange County to protect your rights, guide you through the legal process, and fight to keep your family together.

I personally was contacted by Mo in regards to my case and he was very knowledgeable about dependency cases and my specific situation. It was explained to me where I stood and how to move forward. I was given clarity on where I am and what to do next. I truly appreciate Mo being willing to talk to me and to put me at rest giving me peace on my specific case as well as letting me know that I didn’t need representation and that if I did, he would let me know. He gave me the facts and was completely honest with me that he wouldn’t require someone to pay or take his services on if they didn’t truly need representation and was on the right track with what they were doing with CPS. I cannot say thank you enough Mo for instilling peace of mind and leadership towards the best way to move forward. I am forever grateful!Posted on Google![]()

He consistently demonstrated his extensive knowledge and expertise, and I could always depend on him to be prepared with a solid plan. Mo is responsive, available and his interpersonal skills are an 11/10. He was kind, patient, respectful and transparent, especially when answering my family’s many questions. I reached out to him on several occasions completely distraught. He handled these heavy situations with such care and provided much needed assurance and solace. I ended each call feeling safe and cared for. Besides all the aforementioned qualities that make Mo an exceptional attorney, what really stood out was his passion and dedication. I feel he genuinely cares about the well-being of his clients. He kept my family’s best interest at the forefront of his process, which made me feel confident in trusting him and his judgement. Through his actions, he not only garnered respect form from my family and me, but also received accolades in the court room from County council. A one-month-old infant sustained devastating injuries, including a fractured femur, multiple rib fractures, a subdural brain bleed, and serious internal organ injuries. Cases involving injuries of this nature often result in prolonged separation between parents and children. Through immediate investigation, extensive preparation, and persuasive advocacy, All Trial Lawyers secured placement of the infant with the mother at the initial detention hearing.
A mother faced allegations of inappropriate discipline, including claims of physical abuse, together with a prior CPS history, domestic violence history, and criminal history. The child was initially detained. Despite these substantial obstacles, All Trial Lawyers negotiated aggressively and successfully advocated for reunification. At the combined jurisdiction and disposition hearing, the court returned the child to the mother’s care over the Agency’s recommendation.
A father was accused of serious sexual and physical abuse, resulting in a no-visitation order and the Agency recommending denial of reunification services. After extensive litigation and a contested court hearing, All Trial Lawyers secured dismissal of every allegation. The father’s fifty-percent custody was immediately restored, the dependency case was closed, and he reunited with his child after more than six months apart.
